Aker Solutions ASA 。,、。
Powered by digital technology, strategic partnerships and a strong culture of solving problems, we deliver complex energy projects in a safe, predictable and sustainable way.
At Aker Solutions we are moving forward from our leading position within oil and gas services to transition to the renewable energy segment. Our goal is to ensure that renewables and low carbon projects account for two thirds of our revenue by 2030. Our track record in designing and constructing offshore structures internationally is unique, as is our competence on the entire offshore wind value chain.
Track record in offshore wind We are already a major player in offshore wind. Current projects include Sunrise Wind (924 MW) in New York, in addition to East Anglia 3 (1400 MW) and Norfolk Vanguard (1800 MW), both in the UK – where we are delivering high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems with our HV partner.
We are part of Norway’s Hywind Tampen, the world’s largest floating wind project, where we have delivered and installed 11 floating concrete hulls for wind turbines. We are well on the way toward our goal of becoming a preferred systems provider for floating offshore wind. Our broad product portfolio spans from subsea systems to floating foundations.
De-risking offshore wind developments Our expertise comes from delivering to the global offshore energy markets for over fifty years, as a designer, supplier and service provider of offshore floating and deepwater structures. We have designed, delivered and provided services for more than 160 complex floating structures – including semisubmersibles, spar buoys, TLPs and ship shape. This experience is invaluable in de-risking developments.
Complex environments Our customers and partners have trusted Aker Solutions to advance frontiers in complex environments and harsh waters. We have a proven track record with semi-submersible drilling and production platform designs that have enabled energy production in the world’s most challenging offshore environments. Aker Solutions has designed 60% of the world’s semisubmersible platforms, including the largest semisub in the world.
Now we are supporting our customers in the energy transition journey, together pioneering new and sustainable solutions. Deepwater wind is expected to become the most effective renewable energy source. More than 80 percent of the global offshore wind resources are in deep water. We have unique deepwater jacket technologies that drive down costs and unlock acreage also on intermediate depths, between 50 and 70 meters.
The entire OW value chain Aker Solutions offers the entire offshore wind value chain from cradle to grave, including basis for business case (early price estimation), early phase studies, FEED (front-end engineering design), EPCI (engineering procurement construction installation), services, lifetime extension and demobilization. We have a network of strong partners to secure flexibility and installation capabilities.
In addition to using our own yards, we collaborate extensively with partners and sub-contractors for fabrication. We offer flexibility to adapt to client requirements, such as geography and scale, optimizing the supply chain.
Offshore substationsWe deliver HVDC, floating HVAC and bottom-fixed HVAC. We offer full tailor-made engineering, and ownership of topside and jacket yard. We offer our own offshore product solutions, independent of the HV supplier (OEM).
Gravity-based structuresGravity-based structures (GBS) in concrete offer long lifetime, low maintenance, sustainable alternatives with local production. Gravity-based structures have low impact on wildlife due to gentle installation on the seabed.
Floating foundationsFloating substructures include concrete or steel designs. Our unmatched track record and experience in delivering floating and marine facilities has resulted in global recognition for successful design and project execution.
Steel jacket substructuresOur own world-class and fully automated production line has capabilities for cost competitive serial production for steel substructures. We provide services for the entire value chain, including early phase studies, FEED, EPC, lifetime extension and demobilization. We have a long track record on building complex jacket structures for substations and offshore platforms in addition to turbine foundations.
Marine operationsWe offer services such as load-out, sea-fastening, transportation and installation of the foundations and topsides through our highly experienced marine operations unit.
Powered by digital technology, strategic partnerships and a strong culture of solving problems, we deliver complex energy projects in a safe, predictable and sustainable way. This is how we #PowerTheChange.
