Kökçi Economic Society, a private automotive battery manufacturerin Turkmenistan, exported more than 2,000 products to Afghanistan this year.
The enterprise, located in the 2nd industrial zone of Turkmenabat, produced over 40,000 batteries under Kuwwat, Ýyldyrym and TM Power trademarks in 2019.
Batteries with capacities starting from 60 amp hours up to 190 amp hours are designed for both passenger cars and trucks.
Kökçi obtains the necessary raw materials for production by recycling the old batteries.
The company, founded in 2016, currently employs 80 specialists and uses Turkish and Japanese machinery in the production of batteries.
Bowen Meng, General Manager of the company’s storage solution centre and Cheryl Wang, Director of its lithium battery overseas sales centre, delivered keynote presentations to attendees.
Wang’s presentationfocused on the company’s strength in R&D and innovation and capabilities in global manufacturing, delivery and service.
As a world-leader in lithium batteries, EVE Energy’s primary products have ranked first in sales and export volume in China for seven consecutive years, the company having supplied over 1.9 billion smart meter batteries globally.
Wang went on to introduce EVE’s comprehensive range of cylindrical cell solutions, the company having shipped over 2.1 billion cylindrical cells to customers around the world.
Responding to the fast-growing energy storage market in Turkey and the world in general,Meng’s presentation focused on the fact thatwe are currently at a pivotal point where global energy storage development moves from the GWh to the TWh era. With large-scale and long-term storage projects developing rapidly, there are major challenges to be addressed with regard to safety, management and economic benefits.
In order to effectively mitigate these challenges,Mengintroduced the company’s range of system solutions in detail, including its 3.44MWh, 4MWh and 5MWh systems.
Eatron Technologies and Syntiant presented a joint development - a battery management system based on artificial intelligence. This is a universal module for upgrading energy storage devices in gadgets, household devices, electric vehicles, etc.
According to the developers, the use of this system extends the battery life by 25% and increases their capacity by 10%.
AI will analyze the health of batteries with an accuracy that existing systems cannot. Having enough information about the state of charge and the battery itself allows AI to easily make predictions and get accurate results. This way, the system can effectively manage the battery, reducing losses and load on the device.
The new product was presented at the concluded exhibition The Battery Show Europe 2024 in Stuttgart.
The Turkey Battery Technologies Summit 2023 hosted by the Battery, Battery Pack Manufacturers and Suppliers Association was held in Turkey on November 22-23. The Summit aims to bring together the pioneers of the industry with innovative minds and to convey the latest technological trends.
Bowen Meng, General Manager of EVE Energy Storage Solution Center and Cheryl Wang, Director of EVE Energy Lithium Battery Overseas Sales Center were invited to attend the Summit and deliver keynote speeches respectively to jointly discuss the future of the industry.
At the Summit, Director Cheryl Wang delivered a keynote speech on "Power Your Systems". The speech focused on EVE Energy's R&D and innovation strength, capabilities of "global manufacturing, global delivery, and global service", and comprehensive power supply solutions, as well as the aim of EVE Energy to realize infinite possibilities of lithium batteries and smart life.
As a world-leading lithium battery enterprise, EVE Energy's primary lithium batteries are at the forefront globally, ranking first in sales and export volume in China for seven consecutive years. Its Li-SOCl2 batteries have won the title of "National Single Champion Product in Manufacturing Industry", and it has provided more than 1.9 billion smart meter batteries to the world. Moreover, its primary lithium batteries are widely used in intelligent security, intelligent transportation, smart healthcare, smart retail, and other fields.
Ms. Cheryl Wang introduced that the comprehensive solutions of cylindrical cells developed by EVE Energy cover all sizes of 14/18/21/33/40/46, meet various requirements such as high-energy density, high rate discharge, and long life cycle, and can realize all-scenario matching. At present, EVE Energy has provided more than 2.1 billion cylindrical cells to customers around the world. In 2022, its market share of cylindrical cells ranked among the top four in the world and first among domestic brands. It serves the top ten global brands of gardening tools and power tools, winning unanimous praise from industry customers, and will resolutely achieve high standards in the industry and gain further recognition from customers.
Facing the fast-growing energy storage market in Turkey and around the world, Bowen Meng, General Manager of EVE Energy Storage Solution Center, delivered a forward-looking keynote speech titled "New ESS Solution Superb Response to TWh Era". He pointed out that we are currently at a turning point when the global energy storage development moves from the GWh era towards the TWh era. While large-scale and long-term energy storage projects are developing rapidly, there are major challenges in safety, management, and economic benefits.
Looking into the future, EVE Energy will always be guided by the goal of "low carbon", adhere to the concept of high-quality development, devote itself to the R&D of new battery materials and technologies, promote product upgrading with science and technology, drive industry development with innovations, and contribute to a green global future with clean lithium batteries!
Dr. Jincheng Liu, Chairman of EVE Energy, was elected as Chairman of the Power Battery Application Branch
Turkmen company Kökçi has exported 11.4 thousand vehicle batteries, nearly half of its output since the beginning of this year, to Afghanistan.
